Some of you....of course the 149 that gave this album ONE star, are either oblivious to music or just renown Justin Timberlake haters. This album, was SO great. It's been what, 8 years, and I still play this album like it's brand new. I got the opportunity to watch some clips of him making this album and I promise you, the way that some of these tracks were made was just GENIUS. It's proof for most of you that think this entire album was drum machines, when, in fact it most certainly was not. A lot of these tracks came about from just ideas floating around in The Neptunes ( Pharell and Chad ) mind and Justin being there to help further the the ideas. If you're able to watch the creative process of this album, then I'm almost POSITIVE you'll appreciate a lot more and realize that Justin does have amazing and REAL talent. NO gimmicks. Justin Timberlake's first album is really great! There are romantic slow songs and upbeat dance songs. He has a lot of hits on this album. I recommend it!

justin has a really good voice. initially, when i listened to this album i only like the singles..the rest just bored me. i had to take out the cd towards the end and put on my MJ one! i decided to give it another try and realized it wasn't so bad..some songs grew on me. i see alot of people here keep comparing this album to off the wall. yes, he does sounds alot like MJ and some songs does take me back to off the wall...but i wouldn't go as far as saying it's spectacular like off the wall. some of the songs here range from just average to good. senorita (5/5)- i love this song. i remember hearing this during summer 2003. like i love you (5/5)-i remember watching a parody of the video "like i am you" on mad tv. it got me laughing so hard! (oh no) what you got-3.5/5..it's got nice beats but it's nothing special take it from here (5/5)-not bad..it sounds actually nice and soothing. the music sounds laidback and romantic. cry me a river(4.5/5)-a song that talks about cheating. britney, you were such a fool to mess things up him... rock your body (5/5)-it's another favorite of mines..this was also the same song when the unfortunate took place. nothin' else (4/5)-nice beats.. it sounds almost 70ish/retroish. it kinda reminds me of i can't help it. there's nothin' else for me to say. last night (4.5/5)-sounds pretty good but i think it gets better towards the middle..and the ending was laughable. still on my brain (3/5)-nice...but average (and she said) take me now (4/5)-janet and justin sounds great together. it's sad that there's too much controversy with janet. i love janet and it sucks that she gets all the blame. right for me (4/5)-o, ok...now i see that he's tryin 2 sound like prince. i didn't like this song at first, but it grew on me. let's take a ride (5/5)-i like this song. it sounds better than most of the songs on here never again (3/5)-it takes me back to his *nsync days...but it kinda bores me here

My personal fav of his works so far. Nice variety and shows his stuff well. Plus, he looks HOT on the cover.

I pray this isn't the future of music.There are a couple of tracks worth listening to,but the rest are just drum machines and rap,and Justin trying to be Black.{Hey,I can rap too!!!}
